🍁 About the Club

Where Canadian politics is made fun, social, and easy to explore.

McGill Model Parliament is a student-run organization that introduces students to Canadian parliamentary procedure through interactive simulation games. Designed with beginners in mind, our events welcome students from all academic disciplines and levels of political knowledge. It’s a fun and approachable way to learn about Canadian politics in an inclusive, relaxed, and lively club environment.

Our Mission

Helping students engage with the Canadian political sphere.

We lower the barrier to political participation by making parliamentary procedure understandable, interactive, and enjoyable. Through well-run simulations, we give students a practical understanding of debate, institutions, legislative roles, and public life.

Beginner-friendly by design.

  • No prior political science background required.
  • Events that balance structure with an inviting atmosphere.
  • Opportunities to learn through participation, not only observation.
