🍁 About the Club

Where Canadian politics becomes hands-on, social, and accessible.

McGill Model Parliament is a student-run organisation which facilitates simulation games imitating Canadian parliamentary procedure. These games are a fun way for students of all national and academic backgrounds to learn more about Canadian politics, tailored to a beginner-level audience and grounded in a relaxing, inclusive, competitive, and entertaining club environment.

Our Mission

Helping students engage with the Canadian political sphere.

We lower the barrier to political participation by making parliamentary procedure understandable, interactive, and enjoyable. Through well-run simulations, we give students a practical understanding of debate, institutions, legislative roles, and public life.

What makes us different

Beginner-friendly by design.

  • No prior political science background required.
  • Events that balance structure with an inviting atmosphere.
  • Opportunities to learn through participation, not only observation.
  • A club culture that values inclusion, curiosity, and confidence-building.
